Tone Of The Earth

Tone Of The Earth, means the frequency of The Divine Mother, the frequency of Mother Earth, the frequency of Gaia.

There are many frequencies that can be said to be that of The Divine Mother. The frequency on this album is the frequency most related to the Mother Earth aspect of The Divine Mother. This album is a single tone. It is rendered with orchestral sampled sound. Specifically, a choir.

Sampled sound refers to the approach of recording many notes from an actual musical instrument, to provide the entire musical range of that instrument. Then, using a digital audio workstation, those notes can be assembled into any music or melody or sound that one wishes to produce.

The sampled sound in this album is not a musical instrument, per se, but it is a choir. This means that singers, sang all the notes of their natural range and that was recorded. Then using a digital audio workstation, the frequency of Tone Of The Earth was selected and placed on this album.

Album Contents

The album has 12 identical tracks. Each track is 5 minutes.
Within that 5 minute period, there is 4 1/2 minutes of sound and 1/2 minute of Silence.
All together the album is 60 minutes in length.

The idea of this arrangement of sound and Silence is to provide a periodic rest.

Listening To and Using The Album

The Tone Of The Earth can be listened to with speakers or headphones. It is a mono recording with the identical sound on the left and right tracks. When I listen to these sounds, I keep the audio level quite low, and I am sitting or reclining with my eyes closed. I never do anything else while listening.

But the main idea of this Tone Of The Earth album is for charging water.

Charging Water

Water can be charged with The Tone Of The Earth. Either one or two speakers placed close to a glass of water will accomplish this. Here are images depicting the arrrangement.
Using 2 speakers is 4 times more effective than using 1 speaker.
IMPORTANT: If you use 2 speakers facing each other there needs to be a phasing arrangement for this to work. More on that later ....

Phasing

Well this is going to be a bit technically detailed, but if you want to use 2 speakers, it is important to get this right.
In a typical HiFi music arrangement, care is taken to ensure that the phase of the left and right speakers is IN PHASE.
This means that if identical sound is played through both speakers, the speaker cones move toward the listener (you) together and move away from the listener together.

But when you focus 2 speakers at each other, IN PHASE would result in a cancelling of the sound in the space in between the speakers.

We do not want this.

So for this application we want the speakers to be OUT OF PHASE.


Measuring Sound Level To Infer The Phase

The approach here is to measure the sound level with just one of the speakers connected. Then connect the other speaker.
If the audio level indicated on the meter is now less, then you are OUT OF PHASE.

In a step by step ....

1. Place the 2 speakers side by side, facing the sound level meter.
2. Play a tone through the speakers with the same audio on the left and right channels, but initially, have only one of the speakers connected (either left or right).
3. Note the reading on the sound level meter.
4. Connect the second speaker.
5. Did the sound level go up or down? If it went down, then you are OUT OF PHASE and you are all set. If the sound level went up when you connected the second speaker, then you have to reverse the phase of one (either one) of the speakers.

Timing

The water will take on a charge over the period of 1 hour. It builds during that 1 hour. If the sound is left on for longer than 1 hour, it will not increase the charge. The sound can be left on for long periods of time if that is convenient.

The charge will slowly dissipate from the water after the sound is removed. The charge will completely dissipate in 3 hours time.

Audio Level ( Loudness )

The sound level on the speakers can be adjusted to a medium-low setting. For those who have a sound level meter, a setting of:
70 db SPL is medium-low.

Water Temperature

The idea is Room Temperature. Nevertheless, the water can be slightly heated in the following way.
Pour 1 to 2 oz. hot (can be boiling) water into a glass. Then add 6 to 8 oz of the Charged Water.
Always do it in this exact order.

Water Container

For preparation of the Charged Water or transportation of the Charged Water, glass or ceramic is best. Metal or plastic is acceptable also.
